Perfect Dark Ported to Original Xbox with 720P Support and Local Multiplayer

One of the most exciting features of the recent "decompilation" projects is the possibility of native ports of these classic games to other systems. The latest of these to drop is none other than the classic Nintendo 64 First Person Shooter Perfect Dark!

Perfect Dark X is an Original Xbox port of the open-sourceΒ Perfect Dark PC port, which is based on theΒ Perfect Dark decompilation project. All of the original Perfect Dark features such as the full single-player campaign, combat simulator, and yes the split-screen multiplayer make the leap to the Xbox version. Some notable upgrades have also been added such as 720P resolution, dual-analog controls and textures from the Xbox 360 XBLA game! Below are the first two screen shots of the game running on XEMU in 720P.Β

Unfortunately there is no plan currently to port Goldeneye to the OG Xbox, but with that game just recently reaching 100% on it's Decompilation Project and a PC port already planned, it will only be a matter of time. Head over to the projects GetHub Page to check out the full list of features and download it.Β
