PlayStation 1, reborn: 1080p HDMI output & PicoStation disc-free optical drive emulator. Built and customized by Retro Gaming Systems
This original PlayStation 1 has been fully modernized with the latest tech to ensure it will provide the best possible audio/video while allowing you to ditch discs and access the full library of games from a much faster SD card solution.
We have installed the Hispeedido Digital HDMI board into this system. Soldered directly to the video/audio processors for a true digital signal — not a captured analog feed like cheaper adapters use — upscaled to a crisp 1080p over HDMI. Motion-based de-interlacing keeps the picture silky smooth, optional CRT scanlines bring back that retro look, and you get 480p or 1080p output with 3 aspect ratios each, including full screen. It's the best A/V this console has ever produced — and the original analog port still works too!
Say goodbye to failing lasers and scratched discs: the PicoStation ODE swaps the CD-ROM drive for a lightning-fast SD card solution. Power on, and you're greeted by a slick menu with full original box art for every game. We've loaded a complete cheat library, overclocked the CD-ROM bus for even faster loading, and included a 512GB SD card accessible right from the disc tray — completely plug and play.
To top it off, this system comes with 2 wireless translucent blue DualShock controllers and we installed a matching blue power LED as well!
Relive your childhood gaming memories — now with the upgrades this legendary console always deserved!
